Background: Jan Pizzi and Debra Wright decreed at the last board meeting that personal recorders will not be allowed on district-owned tables the board meeting tables. See this post for more details.
I asked the district for clarification, and today received this response.
I guess I can understand the concern…we all know how disruptive running tape recorders can be.
Yea, they’re right up there with unruly teenagers…oh wait, were we talking about the tape recorders or Pizzi and Wright?
This is to our current District Board. I know a few of you read this site.

First of all, until you officially vote on this issue, you really can’t and shouldn’t invoke this request.
I also want to know and this will show by a vote by you, who votes it forward. Honestly, I will not support any board member that would support this change.
If the current board is uncomfortable with what is stated in meetings, then you need to deal with that.
If anyone is disruptive at your meetings. I don’t think you should tolerate that. It’s that simple.
You punish those who are disruptive. Allow our civil rights to those who are respectful.

Al Kreps is a Larry Lover and that’s a fact. He backed the board non-decision to keep funding the RO’s
Nowhere does sound logical financial planning come into play here.
None of Mr. Kreps employees are over paid. Yet he backed the pay of Larry from day one.

There will be a formal compliant filed with the SOS on both Al and Robert. The state has the right to look into these matters and determine the best course of action.

Here’s the real answer (which you would know if you called someone at the district office who has the facts): The district has only an operating fund account at State Bank. (That would be a checking account). All other accounts were moved to other local banks because they paid higher interest. Sounds like a wise move to me.
So if we think this through, what possible disadvantage to the district would Al Kreps pose? Just for the sake of argument, he might want the district to keep more money at his bank which would mean less spending. Is that what you have a problem with? In reality, I think Al has enough integrity to not involve himself in District matters at his bank.

Speaking of that, if you get elected, and a current board member gets elected, how do you plan on ever working with a prior board member when you think they are all idiots?
Doesn’t that make it just a little bit difficult for you to be unbiased and open as a board member, that, and the fact you are still suing the district and have threatened to sue other board members?
